‘Smile’ is one of the rare horror hits of recent time. Director Parker Finn brought out the fear and discomfort out of a friendly facial expression in ‘Smile’. The movie collected $200+ million, however, it was produced on a relatively smaller budget. Mr. Finn is returning to direct the sequel, and we’ll explore the unsettling horror play out again when ‘Smile 2’ hits theatres on October 18, 2024.

Gladiator 2

Almost 20 after the original ‘Gladiator’ was released, Ridley Scott is finally making the sequel.

‘Gladiator 2′ will focus on Lucius, the son of Maximus’ old flame, Lucilla. Instead of original actor Spencer Clark, grown-up Lucius will be played by Paul Mescal. Connie Nielsen — who played Lucius’ mom in the first movie — is returning as well. Denzel Washington has also joined the cast of the sequel. Joseph Quinn will play the role of Emperor Caracalla.

Wind River: The Next Chapter

In November 2022, Kari Skogland signed on to direct a sequel to ‘Wind River’ starring Martin Sensmeier (reprising his role from the first film). In early March 2023, the cast was revealed to comprise Jason Clarke, Scott Eastwood, Chaske Spencer, Gil Birmingham, Alan Ruck, and Tatanka Means.

In this movie, we will see the FBI bring in Chip Hanson (played by Martin Sensmeier) to solve a series of unusual murders.

Den of Thieves: Pantera

‘Den of Thieves: Pantera’ is an upcoming action crime movie written and directed by Christian Gudegast. This movie is the continuation of the story of ‘Den of Thieves’ (2018). In this sequel, Gerard Butler and O’Shea Jackson Jr. are reprising their roles from the previous movie.

In this sequel, detective Nick O’Brien (played by Butler) will be seen trying to track down Donnie Wilson (played by O’Shea Jackson Jr.) who has escaped to Europe and planning another heist.

Captain America-Brave New World

Captain America will be back – and there’s a new hero wielding the shield. The cast includes Danny Ramirez, Harrison Ford, Tim Blake Nelson, and Liv Tyler.

Mission Impossible 8

Tom Cruise will return as Ethan Hunt. With Christopher McQuarrie back in the director’s chair, the franchise’s eighth movie is the follow-up of 2023’s Dead Reckoning Part One. Tom Cruise will be re-joined by Ving Rhames, Henry Czerny, Simon Pegg, Vanessa Kirby, Hayley Atwell among many others.

Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire
